Accommodation

For students who are arriving in Dublin for the first time, we offer accommodation. This will help you to get to know Dublin without the stress of trying to find a home. You can stay in our accommodation until you are ready to set out on your own.

There are three types of accommodation:

Shared Accommodation

You will share this room with other students – you say how many students you are comfortable sharing with (see the application form).

This will be about 30-45 minutes away by bus, which is a very common commute time in Dublin. Check out dublinbus.ie to see the routes and numbers.

Hostel

Hostels are very popular in Dublin. Here, you can meet tourists and travellers from all over the world, and have the freedom to explore the city centre. Hostels are right in the centre of the city, just a 5-minute walk from DCE.

Host Family

Why not stay with an Irish family instead? In this way, you can experience family life in Ireland, and get to know our culture and habits directly. Practise speaking English with your hosts every day, and try some Irish food with them. The host family home can be 45-55 minutes from DCE by public transport. Check out dublinbus.ie or irishrail.ie to see the routes and information.
